Fairtrade Fortnight - 27 February - 11 March

An exciting fortnight of events marking Fair Trade Fortnight on the Isle of Man begins on Monday 27 February with a meal and a movie at St John's Mill. The film 'Black Gold' will be shown as people experience flavours from around the world.

Tickets for this event are £12.50 each and bookings can be made by contacting Jill Gore at St John's on 01624 802900.

A very special visitor has been sponsored by the Fairtrade Foundation to be on the Island during the fortnight.

Massatoma Mounkoro, is a cotton farmer from Mali who will be at many of the events over the fortnight including meeting local farmers and swopping agricultural notes and he will be speaking at a Co-op sponsored lunch for MHKs and the Business Community onThursday 8 March at Tynwald, with tickets available from the Chamber of Commerce on 01624 674941.
