Giving and Income Generation Officer for the Diocese of Sodor and Man.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

depending on experience. 5 year contract.

Both full and part time/job share applicants are welcome

Would you enjoy a challenge shaping a new role to help us to maximise income and use resources effectively to grow our ministry and mission serving the community in the Isle of Man?

Are you an effective communicator able to motivate and support volunteers and experienced in building collaborative partnerships?

Do you have a successful track record in a range of fund-raising activities?

Are you comfortable combining your business acumen with talking about generous giving, living a Christian faith and discipleship?

Then you could be the one for this venture working with our small Diocese of 15 parishes to explore developments in some of the following areas:

  • Entrepreneurial development of our organisations’ assets
  • Formulating grant applications to charitable trusts
  • Creating a culture of generous charitable giving
  • Gaining corporate social responsibility and philanthropist sponsorship
  • Developing social enterprises which serve local needs
