New Work Coming at Pentecost

Producer Jackie Sheppard, after the initial 80 days of production last year, described her work on this series as “My first foray into episodic drama and it has been pretty epic” – with a main cast of over 50, plus day players and over a thousand supporting artists. They were shooting in around 45 locations – some of them pretty iconic – and Jackie describes working with “the most amazing, hard working, friendly, delightful, talented cast and crew you could ever hope for”. Jackie added a “huge shout out to the brilliant production team who had my back at all times and truly were the engine room of the show”.

Twelve months later this series goes live for Pentecost – this Sunday! – portraying the challenges and dedication of Christ’s early disciples in a powerfully reimagined telling of Luke’s journal in the Book of Acts.
