Forty Days of Prayer started on 14th September, to pray for our Island and our world.
As part of a call to 40 days of prayer which began with Global 24-7 and runs through to the National Week of Prayer 10-18th October we invite you to join in praying now for our House of Keys General Election, especially for candidates standing in your local constituency.
Church prayer groups are encouraged to focus their prayers this week on the election, praying for Tynwald and our national life. As well as praying for the election, we will pray afterwards for those who are elected, and also those who offered themselves but were not elected.
- Sunday evening 20.00 to 22.00
- Monday 09.30 to 20.00
The Parish Church of St George & All Saints in Douglas is open daily from 15th to 30th September, 09.30 to 19.00 for prayer, including prayer for candidates and constituencies, with a display of all this year’s House of Keys candidates.
