Transforming Worship’s new ‘do it yourself’ course is ideal for lay people who are embarking on planning and leading worship for the first time and want to do it well, particularly those situated in small rural churches. Although it is pitched at entry level, assuming no or little prior experience in planning and leading worship, it will be helpful for anyone who feels the need to achieve a firmer grasp of this vital role.
The course is made up of three video PowerPoints, compiled and narrated by the Revd Helen Bent, a respected author and trainer of worship leaders. It explores why we worship, how we craft inspiring worship, and how we lead well with confidence and sensitivity. The videos are accompanied by a series of supporting handouts for each session.
