New Director of Studies
Bishop Peter is delighted to announce that The Reverend Irene Cowell will become Diocesan Director of Studies with effect from 1 January 2019.
Commenting on the appointment, Bishop Peter said 'Irene brings wide experience of ministry and of education and training to this role, and I look forward to her work in support of our ordination candidates and in our wider diocesan life of learning and development.'
Irene becomes Director of Studies in succession to The Reverend Canon Margaret Burrow, and Bishop Peter said, 'I thank Margaret most warmly for all her work in this capacity. I also ask us all to pray for Reverend Irene as she prepares for this demanding and responsible ministry.'
