The death has been announced of Rachel Held Evans the well-known Christian blogger and author of four books, who has been described as a 'joyful troublemaker online.'
She was 37 and is survived by her two young children and husband. Her death has been met with an up-swelling of grief and appreciation from loyal readers, famous pastors who sparred with her, and, especially, young people who saw her as a mentor.
