Safeguarding Advice for Volunteers – CoronaVirus (Covid 19)
During these weeks and months when people are volunteering to help in our communities and our churches we still have to continue our awareness of safecaring and looking after those who may now be vulnerable because of isolation.
Tony Connell our Diocesan Safeguarding Officer has asked for this short three minute film to be circulated which contains some simple common sense advice.
The simple message
· if you see something say something,
· that as volunteers you have a safeguarding role
· flags that some people may volunteer for the wrong reason and
· tells volunteers we want them to be safe too
