Service of Thanksgiving, Prayer, and Blessing for the ministry of Archbishop Sentamu at York Minster
A Service of Thanksgiving, Prayer, and Blessing, to mark Dr Sentamu’s end of Archiepiscopal Ministry, as Primate of England and Metropolitan, will take place in the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York (York Minster), on Saturday 6th June, 2020, at 11am.
The event at York Minster will be a free, but ticketed event. More details will follow nearer the time.
The Archbishop will also be at York Minster on Sunday 7th June to preside at the 10am service for the ordination of priests in York Diocese. He will also be attending Evensong at 4pm which will be his last service in his official capacity as Archbishop of York.
