The last weekend in June sees the church at St Mark’s celebrate its 250th anniversary and Ballagarey Chapel celebrate their Sunday School anniversary. In celebration a number of events are planned:
Saturday 25 June at 2:00pm
Service of Thanksgiving led by the Rt. Reverend Peter Eagles, Bishop of Sodor and Man which will be followed at 3.00 pm by tea and a talk by Author Philip Modiano about John Thomas Clarke, Chaplain of St Marks 1828 – 62.
Sunday 26 June at 2:30pm
Ballagarey Chapel have a Sunday School Anniversary Service at 2.30 pm followed by a Platinum Jubilee picnic at 4.00 pm.
Monday 27 June at 7:30pm
Glenfaba Chorale concert in St Mark’s Church at 7.30 pm followed by refreshments in the schoolroom
