The Reverend William Mackay has decided to retire from his role as Minister for the Jurby Mission Initiative and from active ordained life. William’s last day with us was 1 May 2022 with his retirement taking effect from that date too. William will remain living on the Island, and will no doubt continue to worship amongst us.
Bishop Peter writes: I am grateful to Revd William for his faithful ministry within this Diocese of Sodor and Man, first in the Parish of the Northern Plain and most recently as Ordained Pioneer Minister in Jurby. William has been a devoted priest who has contributed much to our shared spiritual and social life. On behalf of us all, I wish him and his wife Sharyn blessings in their retirement.
