The November sitting of the Diocesan Synod was held at St Ninian’s Church, Douglas on Tuesday 30 November. As this marked the beginning of a new triennium for the synod the evening began in celebration of the Eucharist and celebrating St Andrew’s Day.
Items on the agenda included a number of announcements of obituary, ordinations and appointments to other posts supporting the ongoing work of the diocese. Bishop Peter offered his Presidential Address focusing on Renewal, Faithfulness and Generosity.
The evening included reports from Mrs Susan Kennaugh and Fr Michael Brydon on the General Synod of the Church of England held recently in London.

Further elective, financial and ecclesiastical legislative business was conducted before the Synod ended.
