Diocese Aims to be Carbon Net Zero by 2030

Diocesan Synod agreed last evening (Monday 2 March 2020) discussed and adopted the motion that we are facing a climate emergency and that as a diocese we aspire to be carbon net zero by 2030.

Following that meeting Bishop Peter has released a letter containing useful information from the Bishop of Salisbury, who leads on this issue for the Church of England.

Bishop Peter commends the letter to parishes, especially the tool that will allow churches to measure their carbon footprint.
