Liverpool Cathedral Choir have had a busy weekend on the Island with concerts at both Cathedral Isle of Man, Peel and All Saints and St George’s in Douglas.
The event at the Cathedral saw the largest Cathedral in the British Isles joining with the smallest. At Peel they were joined by Cathedral Isle of Man Choir and members of the Kirk Michael Chamber Orchestra. The repertoire saw both choirs sing separately and there were individual orchestral and organ pieces.
All came together for the finale under Dr Peter Litman for a full performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria in D with soloists Juliet Tranter (soprano) and Christine Litman (mezzo).
