The resignation is announced of The Reverend Lynn Davidson, Rector of the Parish of Ramsey and the North-East and Team Leader of the Northern Mission Partnership.
Reverend Lynn leaves us on appointment as Team Rector of Walton Team Ministry and Walton St Luke in the Diocese of Liverpool. Her final Sunday on the Island will be 17 December, and she will be instituted into her new parish in the New Year.
Bishop Peter writes: ‘Lynn has been with us for nearly two years, following an incumbency in Edinburgh, and in that time I have valued her pastoral ministry across the large and newly-formed Parish of Ramsey and the North-East. Lynn has overseen the amalgamation of the two former parishes, and has established a sustainable pattern of ministry and worship across the five churches and congregations. She has led her Ministry Team and the wider Mission Partnership with grace and with care for all, and she has also been a member of my Bishop’s Leadership Team. I give thanks for Lynn’s ministry, and I invite us to pray for her and for Kenny as they prepare to move to their new parish. We pray too for the Parish of Ramsey and the North-East and for its Ministry Team and all who will support and sustain the life of the parish during the forthcoming interregnum.’
