God of our treasured past, our living present, and our future hope,
we give thanks that through your Son Jesus Christ we have been made part of your new community.
Hear us as we pray for the person you are calling to be the next Bishop of Sodor and Man;
give discernment to all involved in the process;
that the one whom we receive may shepherd your flock, teach the faith, proclaim the good news, and lead us in making Christ visible.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, pour out on us the riches of your grace,
that we may joyfully share in the work of your Kingdom in this Isle.
