Farewell to Karen Garrett
On the 26th April we say farewell to Karen Garrett as Local Minister of Holy Trinity, Patrick in the Parish of the West Coast. Karen has led this community for five years and while there has seen considerable changes taking place. The Community Allotments may have already been in place, but since then the church has been beautifully reordered and the church seen a growing congregation.
Alongside this the Knockaloe exhibition has been established in the old school rooms with associated facilities. In short Karen leaves a small rural church in good health. Karen plans in the first instance to take a well earned sabbatical.
We are delighted that Karen will continue to be the officer responsible for Spiritual Direction in the diocese and are very grateful for all she has contributed to the life of the parish of the West Coast.
